PAPER TOPIC-The Devil is in the Details

I would like to explore Pale Fire in my paper, more specifically all the little details that "pop-up" between the forward, actual, poem, Kinbote's commentary and finally the index. My paper would be the index to the index created in Pale Fire without all 'the circling' in the case of the "crown jewels". If pertinent, I will include references to Nabokov, his life, world history, art, etc. that I believe is important in understanding the work of Pale Fire. My blogs on Anastasia/Hazel/Shade and Marie Antoinette/Kinbote are "mini-verions" of what I plan to explore in my final paper.
